Chances are you’ve heard Boston referred to as “the walking city”. Walking, however, is not the only mode of transportation in Boston. Public transportation in Boston offers several options to get around the city including the subway MBTA, buses, and taxis. Even those who arrive into Logan International Airport will find public transportation to be a very convenient way to get into the city and surrounding areas. On a nice day, you may even want to use a bicycle to get around. And, believe it or not, you can actually tour Boston by boat, too! On the other hand, if you prefer to drive and have your own car, chances are, you'll need to know about parking or vanpooling in the city. Spring is at its peak in New England from April until the middle of June. This time of year the temperature varies a good deal but typically offers mid 60 degree days followed by brisk evenings. The spring offers some of the best travel values in the New England countryside. Shopping, museums, bike riding, horseback riding are many of the popular activities this time of year.
